DC to Richmond High Speed Rail
The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) is working to improve intercity passenger rail service in Virginia and throughout the east coast to offer a viable, efficient transportation choice that is competitive with air and auto travel. As part of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process, DRPT is engaging the community to help complete the final phase of a rigorous environmental analysis and preliminary engineering effort that reflects the region’s vision for the Washington, D.C. to Richmond segment of the Southeast High Speed Rail (SEHSR) corridor.
