The Transportation Association of Greater Springfield (TAGS) is a non-profit, public-private transportation management association that plays a key role in the transportation improvement plan for rapidly growing central Springfield, Virginia.

We work closely with area transit providers to identify needs, develop support, and assure the best possible transportation service in the Greater Springfield area. In conjunction with Fairfax County Employer Services and Commuter Connections, TAGS helps to market transit services and other alternative commuting options to local employers and employees. We are dedicated to educating the public about transportation issues that affect our community and informing the public about transportation choices.

TAGS and Metro have teamed together to sponsor a low-cost shuttle service that circulates throughout Springfield's business district.
